Skott Burkland has thirty years of experience in senior level executive search, and has been a Principal in Penrhyn International for ten years. For seven years Skott was a member of the Board of Directors of the Association of Executive Search Consultants Inc. Skott is a recipient of the Association’s Gardner Heidrick Award for outstanding contribution to the profession. He is Chairman of Penrhyn International for 2004-5.

Skott is recognised as a leader in the bio-technology and life sciences markets, having found business leaders and board directors for countless early stage ventures in that industry.

Before entering executive search Skott held positions with WR Grace, Citibank and The Singer Company. He has a BA from Farleigh Dickinson University, and has done postgraduate work at Drexel University and Rutgers University.
