Rafael Rodriguez has been a Principal in Penrhyn International since 2004, when Seminarium became a member of Penrhyn International. Rafael’s practice serves the Regional and Chilean operations of leading international and Chilean companies from a variety of industries. 


Before founding Seminarium in 1990 Rafael was a Vice President with Forestal S.A., Head of the Consumer Bank at Banco de Santiago from 1982 to 1985, and Chief Marketing Officer of Bancard for five years from 1985 to 1990. In addition to having been President of various subsidiaries throughout Latin America, and of Ediciones Trend Management in Chile, Rafael is currently CEO of Seminarium Holding and of Laborum.com.


Rafael is a graduate in business administration of Universidad Católica de Chile. In addition to his native Spanish Rafael speaks fluent English.


In 2000 Rafael was nominated "Selected Consultant" in the Economist Intelligence Unit’s publication "Executive Search in the Americas", the only Chilean to earn that nomination.
