Phil Watson became a Principal of Penrhyn International in 2001 when Ogilvie Watson merged with Fish & Nankivell, one of the earliest member firms of Penrhyn International. Phil’s career in executive search started in 1989, and he was co-founder of Ogilvie Watson in 1995. Phil has a multi-industry practice and serves Australian subsidiaries of international companies as well as major Australian organisations.

Phil’s career as a consultant started with ten years with Arthur Andersen. He then joined Idaps Computer Science and PA Consulting. From PA Phil became head of Distribution Systems for Repco Corporation, before returning to PA Consulting as an executive search consultant in 1989.

Phil has a Bachelor of Commerce degree from the University of Melbourne.
