Luis
Truchado’s career in executive search started in 1992 when
he founded EuroGalenus in Madrid.
He has been a Principal in Penrhyn International
since 1999, when EuroGalenus was elected to membership.
Luis’s practice reflects his deep experience in the
fields of life sciences and pharmaceuticals.
Many of his assignments have been international, and
he works as easily in other parts of Europe as in Spain.
Luis’s
career started in Sales with CIBA-Geigy.
This was followed by experience as a Group Product
Manager with Smith Kline & French.
From 1988-91 Luis was Commercial Director
International of Cesquisa, part of the Cepsa Group.
Luis
speaks Spanish, Italian, English and French.
He has a Master’s degree in Pharmaceutical
Biochemistry from the Universidad Complutense in Madrid, a
Master’s Degree in Commercial Management from ESEM, and an
Executive MBA from the Instituto de Empresa.
He also attended the Senior Executive Program at
Columbia Business School.
