Freddie Fung joined Foster Partners in Kuala Lumpur in 2004, and is now responsible for the office in Vietnam as well as his practice in Kuala Lumpur. He became a Principal in Penrhyn International in 2006.  His practices reflects his extensive managerial experience in consumer goods, the advertising sector and retail.  He has also completed a number of manufacturing sector assignments.

Freddie trained in the UK as a Graphic Designer, and worked for Fitch Design in London.  Returning to Malaysia he worked with major agencies such as BBDO and Wings Creative Consultant, and also for Ogilvy & Mather in Singapore.  This was followed by nine years with Wella Malaysia with responsibility for brand management and trade marketing.

Freddie speaks English, Putonghua & dialects Cantonese, Fujian & Chow Chou, and Malay language.  He is a Diploma Member of the Society of Industrial Designers in the UK.
